Installation FAQs
Installation includes our Clean Oil Filter Canister, its bracket, 2 connecting hoses, and hardware to be attached to vehicle frame and engine. Simple/Non-invasive

There is generally very little mess involved and there will be no change to the way the engine runs or the vehicle operates. The added filter simply fine filters while the engine is running and keeps your oil clean as you drive.
Installation usually requires 2-5 hours and can be done on-site, at home, even at work if permitted.

It is recommended you get your oil changed one last time right before the installation and bring an additional quart of your preferred oil as the bypass filter adds about a quart of oil to the engine's oil capacity. Oil will be topped off after installation is complete.
The OEM oil filter stays in place.

The new filter will be mounted out of the way and often out of sight. You will notice nothing different, other than small increases in gas mileage, slightly quieter engine, and the oil will always feel silky.

On diesel engines, the oil will go from soot-black to translucent as the oil becomes cleaner.
